But it's not because their crop is suffering.

Virginia senator Chuck Robb pushed for the money to be added to the drought bill.

The courthouse was evacuated and the ten inmates scheduled for trial were taken back to jail.

That's according to the Hill's "Roll Call" newspaper.
The paper says House Republicans are offering a seat on the powerful Appropriations Committee -- and Goode wants Republican Governor Jim Gilmore to promise a favorable redraw of the fifth congressional district in 2000.
Goode tells NEWS 7 only that he plans to run for re-election -- but won't say for which party.

They overbook the dorms every year, but this fall there are 300 more people than last year vying for space. The newly constructed Harper Hall will accommodate some of the extra students. Tech is also keeping an older dorm open that was scheduled for renovations. Kids from Vermont to Florida are in Lexington this weekend for an East Coast championship horse show.

720 of them are competing in the U-S Pony Club championships.
They must not only ride but also prove they can care for their horse alone.
Parents are not allowed in the barns.
Casey Hilton traveled 16 hours from Maine.
