Russian news agencies say President Boris Yeltsin has fired his prime minister.
It's the fourth prime minister to be fired in the last year and a half.

Motorists along Interstate 81 between Lexington and Roanoke got to see a forest fire up close over the weekend.
Smoke from the 700-acre fire blew across the road, and passing drivers said flames were clearly visible.
The Virginia Department of Forestry said the fire in Botetourt County was about 90 percent contained last night.
But it's expected to smolder for several more days.

Law enforcement officers are getting a peek at the latest in crime fighting technology at the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Roanoke.

Dozens of exhibits are on display for the chiefs to look at-- everything from a flashlight that also acts as a breathalyzer to different types of guns.
ITT Night Vision even brought in goggles for the chiefs to try, which the company says is useful for officers working at night.

Police are hoping the Internet will help them catch troublemakers at the recent Woodstock concert.
And an original website that brought people into the future, didn't prepare for a future of it's own.

(([intro] [RUNS :05] If you were misbehaving at Woodstock 99, the New York State Police may already have your mug shot on file.
The department is posting concert photographs on it's web site, hoping to identify the people in them.
One person is allegedly counting change stolen from a pay phone, another photo is captioned as a person breaking into an ATM machine. Other concertgoers are show allegedly fueling fires, and playing on downed sound equipment.


Police say they've received about 40 e-mails in response.
The associated press, which owns the rights to several of the pictures, is protesting their use without permission.
It's one way to clear the courtroom in Colorado. Soon lawyers won't have visit the courthouse to file a lawsuit, they can do it over the Internet.
Judges will be able to e-mail their orders and decisions. It's the first statewide internet-court system in the country... officials say it's an experiment... whether it spreads to other states will depend on how well it works here.
A piece of Internet history is about to disappear. The Cleveland Free-net came online in the 80's, and helped spark the Internet craze that led to web sites and chat-rooms. The old, text-based system will be unplugged at the end of September because it is NOT Y2K compliant.

A Southern California couple is celebrating 82 years of wedded bliss.

William and Fung Shie marked their 82nd wedding anniversary yesterday with family and friends.
Yesterday also marked another huge milestone in the Shie family, William turned 100 years old.
He and his wife met for the first time..ON their wedding day in 1917.
He was 18 and she was 17.
The were introduced by a wedding broker in southern China.
So what's their secret?
According to William, just being reasonable.
