A local businessman has been found NOT guilty of soliciting sex from an undercover police officer.
Jimmy Huffman was one of 18 gay men charged last November under a little- used ordinance that makes it a felony to ask for oral sex.

Like the rest of these cases, this one occurred in Wasena Park at night.
Huffman talked with Vice Squad Officer Todd Clingenpeel over a period of nearly three hours.
There was "sexual innuendo" as the prosecutor put it, but no direct request for sex.
Huffman asked: "What kind of help do you need?
Sergeant Clingenpeel said: "I don't know. Use your imagination."
"Use my imagination, or use my lips?" Huffman says.
When Clingenpeel pressed for a direct answer, the 28-year old computer consultant says only: "I like to help people when they need it."

Antique-dealer Clyde Bryant, Junior, owes his victims more than three million dollars.
As the 54-year old gambler was sentenced today, the judge ticked off the 18 people Bryant owes.
Judge James Turk ordered him to begin paying them back- -at a rate of 25-dollars a month from his income as an inmate in the federal penitentiary.

Furrow was flown from Las Vegas back to Los Angeles overnight and arraigned in federal court today.
He is charged with killing a mail carrier .. and wounding five people at a Jewish Community Center Tuesday.
There is still no evidence that Furrow ever lived in Roanoke, but we now know his father attended Jefferson High School.
This is his junior year picture in the 19-50 yearbook.
The elder Furrow now lives in Washington state.

A man was seriously injured this evening while swimming in the New River near McCoy Falls.
Authorities say the man was swinging from a rope. He apparently struck his head when he entered the water.
Friends pulled the 25- year- old to safety, and began C-P-R.
