Labor leader Lane Kirkland is being remembered as a man who helped re-unite the country's labor unions.
The 77-year old former President of the AFL-CIO died Saturday.
Ten years ago, he was arrested in Southwest Virginia while rallying with striking coal miners.
Eric Earnhart covered the story in 1989 and has more.
