Despite extensive changes in security and newborn I-D procdures, the University of Virginia Medical Center has another switched-baby case on its hands.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that a day-old baby was briefly given to the wrong parents by a hospital worker last month.

The father of the baby said he noticed that his son looked different.
A hospital official disputed some parts of the father's account but said the matter is under investigation.

That, along with backfires set to control the fires the last few nights, has stopped the fire from growing.

It could still take several days for the fires to smolder out.
