Two researchers at Iowa State University have found a unique roach repellent.
It works 100 times better than the widely used DEET and it's all natural.
It's catnip.
Chris Peterson and Joel Coat presented their findings yesterday at a meeting of the American Chemical Society.
It could lead to a new non toxic roach repellent that will keep insects from entering the house in the first place.

Scientists say that's important because they believe the rising number of children with asthma is due to their allergic reactions to roach droppings. [2-Shot-Toss]
