Early this morning in Christiansburg a driver discovered the body of a man lying in the street.
For the residents who live on the street this was shocking news for their otherwise quiet neighborhood.

22- year old Jason Sanders Wolfe of Route 4 in Wytheville is facing murder charges today.
Wolfe was arrested after police answered a disturbance call in the Stony Fork area of Wytheville and discovered a victim, who apparently died from trauma to the head. The victim's name is being held until the family can be notified.
Wolfe is being held a the New River Regional Jail without bond.

((The doctors at Carilion Internal Medicine are leaving, one telling us he was forced to leave. Carilion said this wasn't "an adversarial process", that the company is just trying to keep up with changes in healthcare administration.
A viewer from Hardy [J. Gordon] wrote:
"The recent dismissal of the doctors at Internal Medicine has just left me completely bewildered. We, as the public, are expected to pay (high) prices for health care to Carilion and all like it. These doctors were released because they made the ill fated mistake of spending too much time with their patients. When I am Ill, I want my doctor's full attention. Yes, it may take longer because he or she is spending that same quality time with the patient before me, but I know that my time is coming...To the giants of Carilion, I ask you, what will you think when this happens to you or your loved one?"

But Gore hoped a little "Cash" would influence Roanoke voters in 1988... Johnny Cash that is. The event attracted a large crowd at the transportation museum in Downtown Roanoke . Al Gore said Cash was his philosophical soul mate.

Gale force winds collapsed several buildings, including blocks of apartments.
Hundreds are injured, and at least 5 thousand are homeless.

Woods bogeying three of the final holes to hold for a one stroke win in the N-E-C Invitational.

But Phil Mickelson made a run he would put together a string of birdies shooting a final round 5 under par 65.

All Woods had to do is two put from 60 feet for a bogey and he did finishing at 10 under for a one shot win over Mickelson.

Dallas Cowboy owner Jerry Jones was arrested today following a traffic stop.
He was arrested when he drove away with his family before the police officer had finished writing a speeding ticket.
Jones faces a 2-thousand dollar fine and six months in jail.

Green was acquired from Washington in the off season.
