Orville Lynn Majors didn't say a word as he entered the Clay County Court House in what has become Indiana's most notorious murder trial. The man nicknamed the "Angel of Death" says he likes life. Sot: Majors "I like people, I like caring for people." But it's some it's some of those people he cared for that the former nurse is accused of killing. Prosecutors say that between 1993 and 1995 Majors murdered dozen of elderly patients while he worked in the intensive care unit at Vermillion County Hospital. He's charged with killing seven people. Today prosecutors will tell an Indiana jury that Majors injected them with deadly drugs. State police exhumed the bodies of 15 patients after an affidavit revealed the death rate in the ICU quadrupled when Majors' was on duty.

And jury selection began today in the trial of former Clinton Cabinet member Henry Cisneros.
The former Housing Secretary is accused of lying to federal investigators about 264- thousand dollars he paid his former mistress Linda Jones between 1990 and 93.
The case is based primarily on taped phone conversations between Jones and Cisneros.

About a thousand people were left homeless Saturday after a tornado spawned by Tropical Storm Dennis ripped roofs off houses and apartment buildings...causing the President to declare it a disaster area.

It's a girl.
That's the word from the San Diego Zoo, where a panda cub was born a little more than two weeks ago.
It's the the first giant panda born in the Western Hemisphere in nearly a decade.
Zoo vets are a just now getting a chance to examine the cub up close and personal.
They say she weighs 12-and-one-half ounces and appears to be very healthy.
