The governor cites forecasts predicting flash flooding and possible tornadoes.

It's been more than a year since a pick-up and motorcycle collided in Blacksburg leaving two young men dead.

Today-- the driver of the pick-up went on trial for involuntary manslaughter and leaving the scene of the accident.

Prosecutors say 28- year old Claude Love should be found guilty because his truck was on the wrong side of the road.
But Love's attorney told the jury the road on which the accident occurred is narrow and was NOT marked with a center line at the time of the accident.
Cheryl Simon heard the crash and quickly called 9-1-1 before trying to help the injured men.
