State police said Interstate 95 south of Petersburg will remain blocked through at least noon today because of flooding across the state line in North Carolina.
And parts of U-S 460 east of Petersburg toward Norfolk remain blocked by high water.

And this year marked the 10th annual festival.
It's also a time to deal with issues affecting the gay community.
Some say they still face discrimination, and the recent Wasena Park sting-- when several gay men were arrested for allegedly asking for oral sex-- made matters worse.

The group of Roanoke Valley opthamologists says it will file a notice of appeal this week with the state health commissioner.
Last year, the state Health Department denied a certificate of public need for the outpatient center.

A Lexington man is dead after a Sunday car accident.
State police say 49-year-old Larry Wayne Gordon was traveling Northbound on Route 11 in Rockbridge County when his car veered off the side of the road and struck several trees.
Gordon died about an hour and a half after the 8 AM accident.

Nearly 30-thousand people are will without power.
Meantime, some federal help is on the way for hurricane victims.
Housing grants and low-interest loans are now available after President Clinton issued a disaster declaration over the weekend.
