The word comes from a senior campaign official, who says Quayle will make the announcement at an Arizona news conference.
Quayle couldn't keep up with front-runner George W. Bush's fundraising efforts, and reportedly thought it would be wrong to ask people to keep donating money to a campaign that couldn't go all the way.
Sources say Quayle has no regrets about his campaign.
In a recent national poll, Quayle recieved 9 percent of the vote.

Yesterday the P-H World Wide Pride Team held a walk-a-thon to raise money for a trip to the World drug-free conference.
The pride team conducts activities to speak out against drug and alcohol abuse through song, dance, poetry, skits and workshops.
