Someone fired several shots into a police officer's home in Pulaski County early Friday morning.
The officer is a lieutenant with the Radford Police Department and was at home at the time.

Sheriff's deputies say 24-year-old Kirsten Worsham left her two small children at home and left her family with no clue where she was until last Saturday.
That's when they say her car broke down near Danville and she called family members to come get her.
But deputies say Worsham and her family hid that from them until yesterday.
Worsham told family members that she'd been staying nearby with a male friend.

41-year-old Bassett resident Rosa Lee Thomas was charged with murder and felony use of a firearm.
Her arrest comes after 38-year-old Bobby Dale Scott was shot and killed on Friday night.
Earlier this weekend, 34-year-old Martinsville resident Darryl Carneal Law was charged with capital murder.
Law's uncle died after he was shot in the head and chest ... also on Friday.
Both cases remain under investigation.
