Sheriff's deputies have a suspect in the murder of a Henry County man last week.
They say (Ah-BOON-dee-oh) Abundio Mora Soto killed his cousin.
But now, he's sparked a national manhunt.

He says the two men had a good relationship ... and that he can't believe it was murder.
Jose Santos Mora Soto's body was found by family members last week in a creek behind their house.
Autopsy results confirmed he'd been strangled and sodomized.

Soto says that before Abundio disappeared on Saturday morning, he told the family that he'd helped Jose commit suicide.

That raises some skepticism from Henry County Sheriff Frank Cassell.
Cassell says Abundio Mora Soto was a strong suspect that turned into the MAIN suspect after he fled the county.

And that's why Henry County authorities are enlisting the help of the F-B-I and the Office of Immigration in a nationwide search for Soto.
They say he drove off in a blue 1988 four-door Mercury with a dark vinyl top. It had a North Carolina license plate: LXB-5922.

A "most wanted" murder suspect from Washington, D-C is spending the night in a Roanoke hospital.
Terry Leon Boyd is what Carilion calls a "no news" patient, so we don't know his condition.
But police reported he underwent several hours of surgery,

after shooting himself in the head as police closed in on him at an Interstate exit ramp in Roanoke County.
It all happened the day after Boyd had been featured on the Fox broadcast "America's Most Wanted."

Boyd is a suspect in the death of his grandmother, Dorothy Redd. He's been charged in the death of her live-in caretaker, as well.
The bodies of the two women were found in their Hamilton Street home in Northwest Washington.

Two of western Virginia's congressmen are working together on legislation to help satellite dish owners receive local television signals, and help local TV stations reach all of the viewers in their markets.

Then Chad Little and Bill Elliott held up race leader Bobby Labonte long enough to let Gordon catch him and pass him with seven laps to go. Gordon gets his 7th win of the year. The 49 of his career.

Rookie Terrence Wilkins, the five foot nine inch speedster from UVa got his first NFL start for the Colts and played like an all-pro. He caught four passes for 81 yards and returned kickoffs and punts for 167 yards, including this 97 yard TD.
Yet despite everything the 179 pounder did, the Colts lost to the Dolphins 34-to-31.

Ronde Barber and his Buccaneers had the unfortunate task of playing Brett Favre on his 30th birthday last night. Favre somehow managed to throw this TD strike to Antonio Freeman, who beat Barber and made the catch despite being interfered with by Ronde. Favre threw for 390 yards in the 26-to-23 comeback win.
