Another accident involving a school bus- this one in Blacksburg.
Police say the driver of a school bus in Blacksburg was stopped on North Main Street, preparing to unload children, when she was hit from behind.
The driver of the two door Nissan that caused the accident was charged with reckless driving.
Police say none of the children on board was injured.
Damage to the bus is estimated at 35-hundred dollars.

Lawyers in the Virginia Attorney General's office say the State Supreme Court has until Monday night to rule.

After that, state lawyers say it will be too late to get a million voter ID cards mailed out to the ten cities and counties which will require them on election day.
The state is also asking the Supreme Court to make the Virginia Democratic Party pay the 300-thousand dollar cost of printing the ID cards - if the high court upholds a Richmond judge's ruling.
The Democrats successfully challenged the pilot Voter ID project in court this week.
The party says it could discourage some voters and impact legislative elections.

The robber apparently handed the teller a note demanding money, but a weapon was never shown.
The man fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash- Police say he was driving a black Toyota pickup headed towards North Carolina.

For the last week or so the organization has been receiving a number of phone calls about the virus.

Despite big textile job losses, Henry County is boasting a landmark year in job growth and investment.
According to a state survey, Henry County ranked fourth out of 135 Virginia counties and cities in attracting new jobs.
Since January, the county has won more than one-thousand-seventy jobs.
The county also ranked seventh in attracting new investors ... with more than 72-million dollars being invested this year by companies. Most are companies that are expanding.

The first low-cost clinic for pets is opening in Franklin County.

Vets at the so-called Planned Pethood Clinic will spay or neuter your pets for thirty dollars or less.
Humane society employees are spearheading this project to cut the number of strays killed in shelters.
They say ten thousand animals were put to sleep in southwest Virginia last year alone.
The clinic is due to open next spring or as soon as volunteers can raise 100 thousand dollars.
There's a meeting for people who want to help the clinic tomorrow night at the Franklin County library.
