We learned within the hour that a teacher's aide at Radford High school is behind bars charged with forcible sodomy.
43- year old Cotton Lee Easter of (Cain-uh) Cana was arrested this afternoon for allegedly sodomizing a 14- year old male.
Police would NOT say if the boy was one of Easter's students.
Easter is a teacher's aide in special education at the high school and is also a football trainer.

A knife- wielding suspect may be responsible for two attacks on women in Bedford County in the past week.
Authorities say a man tried to force his way into the cars of two women on two different nights in the parking lot of the Graves Mill shopping center.
He's described as a black male, about 6-foot- 2 and weighing about 210 pounds.
Both victims say the man was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information should call the Bedford County Sheriff's Office.

An incident at a juvenile detention center near Richmond earlier this month is being scrutinized state officials.
Medical care for a pregnant girl was compromised, first when an ambulance was delayed by a faulty gate, and later when correctional officers were unable to remove her handcuffs at the hospital.

Reports out of Tallahassee today indicate that Warrick may enter a guilty plea to the felony grand theft charge and immediately serve five days in jail. He would then be allowed to return to the team.
Warrick was caught buying $421 dollars and 38 cents worth of clothing from a Dillards department store and paying just $21 dollars and 70 cents for the items.
Ironically, this year's Florida State football media guide not only features Warrick on the cover, but inside under the personal information in his bio - it states that Warrick was voted the best dressed player on the team in an informal poll.

A longtime friend of hockey has died.
Kathy Sherman passed away yesterday.

Sherman and her family cheered on Valley hockey teams for nearly 30 years.
In addition to supporting teams at the games, the Shermans also opened their home to hockey players in need of a place to stay.
Friends say her good deeds weren't just limited to the ice and that the entire community be miss Kathy Sherman.
