No one was hurt.

Goodlatte and other sponsors say their bill gives law enforcement the tools it needs to crack down on illegal Internet gambling operations.

But some victims aren't as lucky as Coles. Just a few months ago in Lynchburg a domestic dispute turned deadly-- when a man shot a killed his ex-girlfriend and then turned the gun on himself.
In 1998 alone 110 people were killed in Virginia as a result of domestic violence.
TAP Women's Resource Center held the candlelight service in hopes of making a difference -- and to reach out to the youth who are often victims themselves.

Attorneys for Columbia pictures defended their right to make a film about Ali, starring actor Will Smith.
Two of his former associates- -from the days when Ali lived in Nelson County, Virginia- had filed a 3 million dollar lawsuit, claiming they SHARE the rights to Ali's story.
In a joint statement, Ali and the men say the suit was settled on confidential terms.
Filming is set to begin next year.

43-year old Cotton Lee Easter of (Cain-uh) Cana was arrested yesterday afternoon.
Police would NOT say if the boy was one of Easter's students.
Easter is a teacher's aide in special education at the high school and is also a football trainer.

The meeting at Falwell's Thomas Road Baptist Church is to promote peace and tolerance among conservative Christians and gays.
