The blaze started at about 8-30 in a rear bedroom at 261 Preston Avenue.

Fire officials say two neighbors pulled the boy out of the house, through a basement window.
A neighbor and a passer-by also sprayed the home with a garden hose until fire crews arrived.
Fire officials say that helped save much of the house, which still ended up with extensive smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
