Authorities say Farmer and her son David Underwood were selling L-S-D from the house, but it was her husband Tony who was the brains of the operation.

Carbon monoxide poisoning sent 50 workers in a Martinsville plant to the hospital today.

The workers were inside this building at Professional Distribution Services, Incorporated.
They say they started experiencing headaches and difficulty breathing while working this morning.
Firefighters say they believe a forklift inside the plant was responsible for the carbon monoxide fumes.
All 50 of the workers were treated and released from Martinsville Memorial Hospital.
The forklift has been removed and fire officials say air at the plant is testing safe now.

A house fire in Henry County gutted the house and sent two firefighters to the hospital this afternoon.

The fire broke out around one o'clock on Beechnut Circle near Ridgeway.
The couple who lived there was NOT home at the time, but they arrived home in time to see their house burn.
The fire took more than two hours and 30 firefighters to put out.
One was injured when the roof collapsed on him and he fell down the stairs.
He's still in the emergency room at a North Carolina hospital.
Another firefighter is being treated for an injured arm.
The Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.

Traffic is back to normal today, the day after a tanker accident yesterday on 460 in Roanoke County.

The accident happened as the tanker was turning off of 460 onto Cloverdale Road, flipped over, and leaked over 2000 gallons of diesel fuel.
Officials say some fuel leaked into Glade Creek, but crews were able to contain it and clean it up. Drinking water was NOT affected.
Authorities have charged the driver of the tanker with reckless driving.

It was discovered yesterday in Shenandoah, near the town of Edinburg.

One of 18- thousand made, this B-24 is the only one left still flying.

And the Express front office announced this afternoon that all kids ages 12-and-under will be admitted to Saturday night's game free of charge as long as they show up at the Civic Center wearing their costumes. During the second intermission the kids we allowed on the ice for a costume parade. But the real deal happens next Saturday night, November 6th. That night has been dubbed "Birth Night." Yes that's right the Express is looking for pregnant women.
