(( Authorities discovered the bodies of 89- year Ila Edwards and her 85- year old sister, Inez, last night after a neighbor called 9-1-1.
Police today charged 33- year old John D- Cochran, known as J-D, with arson and capital murder.
According to court documents-- Cochran entered the Edwards home and struck both women on the head with a blunt obj
ect killing both--- before setting the house on fire.

What's unclear is WHY Cochran would want to kill two women in their 80's-- that he'd known for several years.
There is one possible theory.
At one point-- the sisters were cautioned against Cochran-- after he was allegedly caught scamming them out of money.
For now, though, police aren't commenting on a motive. ))
