Investigators, meanwhile, say they're trying to learn why one of the plane's thrust reversers was deactivated before the crash.

Just after ten last night, a passerby saw smoke coming from a second story window from the 135- year- old J.W. Wood building on Jefferson Street.
The structure is being renovated into the Amazement Square children's museum and was scheduled to open next summer.
