An accident involving a car and motorcycle this morning in Salem-- has left one man hospitalized.

It happened near Lewis Gale Hospital.
Police say a car apparently drove into the path of the motorcycle-- injuring the driver of the bike.
He was taken to Roanoke Memorial hospital-- no word yet on his name or condition.
Police say there's a possibility another car may have been involved.

NASA scientists say they're getting more and more frustrated.

Today they made yet another UNsuccessful attempt at making contact with the Mars Polar Lander, which was scheduled to land on Mars Friday.
The scientists say if they haven't heard from the 165- MILLION dollar probe within the next 24 hours, they'll have exhausted most of their options.
