The Gardners have joined dozens of other General Electric Employees and Retirees and their families in distributing 350 boxes filled with 36-thousand pounds of food to the elderly and less fortunate.

At halftime coach Frank Beamer received the Big East Coach of the Year Trophy and the team took possession of the conference championship cup.
The loudest cheer of the day was for defensive end Corey Moore who invited the crowd down to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl--the final step in Tech's national championship march.
