42 year old Victor Shelton was the passerby who pulled Charles Miles out of a burning truck in September of last year.
Miles lost control of his pickup along Route 460, hit a guardrail, flipped several times, and caught fire.
For his heroism, Shelton receives a bronze medal, and three thousand dollars.

A landmark decision for same-sex couples. It comes in Vermont.
The state's Supreme Court is extending to same-sex couples the same rights and privileges afforded to married couples of the opposite sex.
But the court is leaving it up to Vermont legislators to determine if those benefits will come through marriage ... or through a system of domestic partnerships.

The search of a van in Montreal belonging to a suspected terrorist has turned up no explosives.

Carruth was charged with first degree murder last week, after his former girlfriend, Cherica Adams, died Tuesday of gunshot wounds.
He was found two days later in western Tennessee.
Prosecutors have said they intend to seek the death penalty.

Two people charged with a pair of recent holdups in Bedford County .. are also suspects in armed robberies in Franklin, Botetourt and Pittsylvania Counties.
42 year old Freeman Lee Muse and 46 year old Costella Forney of Harrisonburg were arrested last night after a Bedford County deputy pulled their car over.
They are charged with robbing the Thaxton market last Tuesday and a gas station near Smith Mountain Lake last Friday.

Agent Billy Deaton says Snow died today at his home in Nashville.
