ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of Classics, tenure-track position.

Candidates should be generalists with strong commitment to teaching and research of Greek and Latin languages and literatures, and to teaching courses in translation.

Ph.D. by Spring 1994 required; publications desirable.

Preference given to candidates specializing in one or more of: Latin literature, prose, Greek tragedy.
