ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW FORMAT

The editors of Electronic Antiquity are pleased to announce that with issue 8.1, the journal will move from an html web format to a PDF format. This change will provide several advantages: 1) the journal will have a physical appearance more like a paper journal; 2) articles can now be cited by page numbers in bibliographical references; 3) we will easily be able to present ancient Greek without transliteration; 4) those who print out articles will have a much better format to read; 5) there will be more security for the authors since we will now make the PDF files readable and printable, but not alterable, by the public. We hope this format makes for a better journal and we welcome any comments, suggestions, reviews, of the change. Please forward them to Terry Papillon (Terry.Papillon@vt.edu).
