Society Publications Committee
As the American Rhododendron Society grows its publications, particularly the Bulletin and Yearbook, become increasingly important as a means of contact with the members and as a way of disseminating accurate and up-to-date information. The work and responsibilities of our editors is constantly increasing. It has been deemed advisable to more clearly define the duties of the Publication Committee which was appointed to assist in the preparation and printing of our publications. The duties of this committee are to determine policies, prepare, print, edit and purchase all publications authorized by the Board of Directors of the American Rhododendron Society. It shall be responsible for matter printed in the Bulletin and other publications and shall have the authority to edit any and all material in the interests of accuracy and policy. The present committee is Herbert Schink, Robert Bovee; the president of the Society, Claude I. Sersanous; the editor of the year book, Dr. J. Harold Clarke; and the editor of the bulletin, Rudolph Henny.
