Second Annual Rhododendron Show, Great Lakes Chapter

Paul Bosley, Sr. and Peter Girard, Sr., Co-chairmanThe second annual Rhododendron Show of the Great Lakes Chapter will be held May 27 and 28 at the Garden Center of Greater Cleveland, East Boulevard at Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. Last year's show was the largest ever held in the eastern United States and possibly had more entries than any that had previously been staged anywhere in the country. The 1961 Show is planned to be larger still. Tours of outstanding gardens and nurseries featuring Rhododendrons and Azaleas, prominent speakers and other events are planned in association with the Garden Center of Greater Cleveland as a part of a Rhododendron Festival during the two days of the Show. Members of other Chapters are invited to attend and may make reservations for the tours and for the dinner meeting on May 27.
