Jacobson photoA Japanese flower arrangement in the Nage-iri (over-the-cliff) style. (Fig. 25) This style has a casual, thrown-in appearance and expresses habit of growth. Note that the diagonal lines in the arrangement are repeated in the legs of the bamboo stand. The plant material is orange-colored seedling Rhododendron calendulaceum. The stoneware container is a subtle combination of orange-brown and green.
