A Note of Appreciation and Thanks
Edward H. Long, President California Chapter A.R.S.I feel that we as a group would be remiss if we failed to express our appreciation to the Officers of the A.R.S. for their valuable and splendidly conducted Conference. Also our thanks to the Portland members for the wonderful reception and welcome we received.
We went to Portland to see and study rhododendrons, but in addition we received such kindness and consideration from all that we were overwhelmed. The courtesy extended to us in Garden Tours by members and nurserymen was delightful, memorable and much appreciated.
