Wales Wood of St. Helens, Oregon, furnishes us with a picture of a delightful little species, R. pemakoense. Either the color process has flattered the subject a bit or this is a particularly good color form of the species. Could it be a little of both? At any rate this is a very useful plant rated H-3 and 2/3 by the A.R.S. It belongs to the Uniflorum series and is found in Tibet at an elevation of 10,000 ft.
