New York Chapter Booklet
Each year the New York Chapter, either alone or in cooperation with nearby Chapters, has had a booth at the New York Flower Show and at other horticultural exhibitions in the area and has sold, at a very nominal price, an attractive booklet on rhododendron culture. The booklet this year is entitled "Rhododendrons and Azaleas For The Northeast," giving cultural directions and other information. Rather extensive variety lists of various types of rhododendrons, both varieties and species, and of azaleas are included. These lists give the color, height at ten years, blooming time and hardiness based on the U. S. D. A. Plant Hardiness Zone Map.
