David Leach Honored
We are pleased to report that an honorary degree has been conferred upon David Leach. Quoting from a newspaper clippings we received announcing the honor, "A degree of Doctor of Science will be conferred upon David Goheen Leach, Brookville, Pennsylvania. A graduate of the College of Wooster, he retired at the age of forty from industry to concentrate on the study of genetics and related photography, in which fields he has received wide recognition."
" He has specialized in the area of rhododendrons, was awarded the American Rhododendron Society's Gold Medal in 1965."
The degree was conferred at a special three day convocation at College of Wooster.
