Cecil Smith has again favored us with a fine picture of a magnificent rhododendron, 'Beauty of Littleworth', a seedling of R. griffithianum X an unknown, probably R. campanulatum. The cross was made by Miss Clara Mangles in England, about 1900. In our new book the A. R. S. ratings will be 4/3, hardy to -5°. This variety has wonderful foliage and grows rapidly but is a little slow about coming into bloom.
