Herewith is a list of the Nominees from whom four Directors will be elected in 1970. The candidates re­ceiving the highest number of votes will be elected for a term of three years. When your ballots are received, please vote for four.

JAMES CAPERCI , Incumbent, Member of Seattle Chapter. A nursery­man specializing in dwarf rhododendrons. Long active in Chapter affairs.

JOHN HENNY , Incumbent, Member of Portland Chapter. A former President of the A.R.S. and long active on the Board. Nurseryman and breeder.

WARREN BERG , Incumbent, Member of Tacoma & Seattle Chapters. An airlines pilot and enthusiastic amateur grower.

MAURICE SUMNER , Member of California Chapter. A retired Attorney active in Chapter affairs. An amateur grower and propagator.

CLIVE L. JUSTICE , Member of Vancouver, B.C. Chapter. A landscape architect and planner, amateur grower and active in Chapter affairs.

FRED GALLE , Member of Middle At­lantic Chapter. Director of Callaway Gardens, Georgia and President of the American Horticultural Society.

EDWIN C. BROCKENBROUGH , M.D. Member of Seattle Chapter. A young and active surgeon and very successful amateur grower and propagator.

THEODORE VAN VEEN , Member of Portland Chapter. A prominent wholesale nurseryman and very knowledgeable of the genus.
