Birmingham Gardens Receive Award
The Rhododendron Garden in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens was the winner in Annual Beautification Awards competition in Birmingham, Alabama. The mayor of Birmingham, George G. Seibels Jr. also presented Mrs. George Curry with a special award for her work in establishing the Rhododendron Garden.
