Marie and George Betts were presented the Bronze Medal at the March Chapter Meeting. They joined the Lewis County Chapter in 1958 when it was affiliated with the Pacific Rhododendron Society. In 1971 they were instrumental in having the organization join the ARS.
They have always provided the spark that has kept the chapter active in putting on show and demonstrations and in attracting new members.
