The Portland Chapter of the ARS gave its Bronze Medal and Citation to Dave Goheen in April 1976, in recognition of his many contributions and multiple activities on behalf of the Society, over the course of these past two decades. The picture shown of him was taken about 10 years before the citation, in one of the many forms of labor devoted to the Rhododendron Society and our Rhododendron Garden.
