President Hans Bussnik presents Bronze Medal to Walter Blyskal The Tappan Zee Chapter presented the Bronze Medal to Walter Blyskal at the December, 1978 meeting. The following information was noted: Walter Blyskal has served the Tappan Zee Chapter as President and a member for many years. He has worked diligently on flower shows, plant sales, seed exchanges, national and local, plant exchanges, and many other activities. Walter is a successful hybridizer of rhododendrons and has some fine crosses to his credit, some which are scheduled to be registered in the near future. As an exhibitor at flower shows, Walter brings in fine material and is notable that he won a high honor for a new hybrid at the show held in Long Island, New York, during the National Meeting in 1978.
