Additional Numbers, J. F. Rock 1928-29 Expedition
by Col. and Mrs. R. H. GoodrichThe following Rock numbers were found after publication of the main body of the 1929 expedition numbers (ARS Quarterly Bulletin, July 1976, Vol. 30, No. 3). In the latter our sources were U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Plant Introduction files and the Royal Horticultural Society Rhododendron Handbook, Part One, Species (1967). Having since located Rock's field notes and herbarium specimens at the Smithsonian Institution, we are now able to list additional numbers and to give species identification and corrections of those previously listed.
