William Bartram Chapter Awards Bronze Medal
Dr. Curtis Sidden presents award to Robert L. Perry (right) At its January meeting the William Bartram Chapter of the ARS bestowed its highest honor, the ARS Bronze Medal, on Mr. Robert L. Perry. Mr. Perry is a charter member of the WBC and has long been recognized in the Southeast as a leader in rhododendron culture.
Mr. Perry was presented a citation which read: In recognition of his contributions to the advancement of the genus rhododendron through the William Bartram Chapter we honor: Robert L. Perry. Through your untiring service to the William Bartram Chapter, and through your eager generosity to share your plants as well as your seemingly unlimited knowledge on plant culture, you have enriched the lives of all of us. The American Rhododendron Society is pleased to present its Bronze Medal to: Mr. Robert L. Perry.
