'Congo' R. catawbiense var. album x 'Goldfort'. Hybridizer, owner, David Leach. Plant of spreading habit, 65" wide x 48" tall in 11 years. Foliage elliptic, 120mm long x 50mm wide, medium green. No indumentum. Flower: ball truss of 10-16, openly funnel-shaped flowers, white, 50mm diam. x 40mm length, average texture. Rating 4/4. Nominated by Great Lakes Chapter.

'Ivory Tower' R. catawbiense var. album x (R. wardii x R. fortunei). David Leach hybridizer & owner. Plant 64" wide x 54" tall in 15 years. Foliage elliptic, 130mm long x 55mm wide, light green. No indumentum. Ball truss of 10-12 ivory white flowers of open funnel-shape, 70mm diameter x 60mm long. Rated 4/4. Nominated by Great Lakes Chapter.

'Ohio Pink' R. yakushimanum, open-pollinated. Hybridizer, John Ford, owner or exhibitor, Seacrest Arboretum. Plant 64" wide x 43" tall in 13 years. Foliage elliptic, 100mm long x 35mm wide, dark green. No indumentum. Flowers in ball truss of 15 openly-funnel shaped flowers of strong purplish-red, 50mm diam. x 50mm long. Average texture. Rated 4/4. Nominated by Great Lakes Chapter.
