ARS Welcomes Bluegrass Chapter

At the May 4, 1994, meeting of the American Rhododendron Society National Board of Directors, the Bluegrass Chapter was approved as the Society's 72nd chapter, the sixth to be established in District 11.The group, led by President Homer Salley, does not currently have a permanent meeting place or time, but will meet in areas convenient to most chapter members (such as Danville, Kentucky) as members' needs dictate. Members will be drawn from the general area known as the "Bluegrass" area, chiefly central Kentucky. We congratulate them and welcome them to our growing family!
