A Butterworth Bandpass Filter Using Mutators

In this paper a LC simulation-type RC active bandpass filter was presented. The proposed circuit simulated the doubly terminated ladder filters. To begin with, a second-order Butterworth bandpass filter was designed. Further, L-R mutators were shown to be useful in synthesizing a ground inductor and a floating inductor.Key words : Mutator, ground inductor, floating inductor, Butterworth filter, Bandpass filter
