In my note in the last issue of Techné I announced that the next issue would be volume 6, number 2, spring 2003. I wrote too soon, for a second special issue arrived sooner than expected, and, taking advantage of the freedom that electronic publishing offers, I decided to go ahead and publish it as volume 6, number 2, winter 2002.

The next regular issue-as opposed to a guest edited, theme issue-will be volume 6, number 3, spring 2003, and will appear in April 2003.
