What is HTML+?

HTML+ is a proposed extension to HTML that has been discussed for well over a year on the Internet as a Request For Comment (RFC) document. It is a whole-sale rewrite of HTML which replaces many tags and adds some new tags to focus more on structure.

In reality, some HTML+ features such as forms have, by necessity, crept into HTML to become level 2.

HTML+ will become HTML level 3. Netscape supports some HTML 3 tags.
