What provisions have been made for migration of ETDs to new standard formats yet unknown?

Text Responses (20 for this question)
"1) Provisions for migration: we will migrate when technology warrants (e.g. if pdf or other format standards evolve & require migration of old versions - can be automated process). Also, all ETD submissions are sent to Bell & Howell (UMI) for microfilming / multiple redundant archiving scheme. 2) Other Notes: Disciplines: we have all disciplines represented in our ETD Library -- includes life sciences, physical sciences, information sciences, social sciences & humanities. 3) ETD modification after approval: the basic submission may not be modified (unless special request made by committee chair within end-of-semester timeline); Addenda Web page to be implemented soon for student use after submission approval (i.e. addenda, corrigenda, updates such as URLs, Vitae, professional development / promotion Web page, papers published, etc.). 4) ETDs have been required since August 1998. 5) Name of institution: West Virginia University"
"Disciplines choices (above) does not allow more than one option to be checked (surely a survey design oversight-most colleges have candidates in more than one discipline).
