architects have the capacity to make invaluable connections between the present and the past - connections which can potentially fortify and enrich contemporary culture. carefully considered subtle and substantial interventions can infuse seemingly defunct existent constructions with a new vitality and provide the contemporary world with a rich and intricate new architecture.
