The NDLTD and the MetaArchive Cooperative share the goal of helping higher education institutions ensure long-term open access to electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs). This Web site provides access to documents and events so that institutions with ETD initiatives can better plan for long-term access through a sound and affordable preservation strategy.
Annually the NDLTD conference hosts a workshop for representatives from ETD initiatives, providing them with the opportunity to learn first-hand about the ETD preservation strategy. See what's in store for 2010 by reviewing the outline from the 2009 conference.

Slated to join are Auburn University, Georgia Tech, University of Louisville, Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and the University of North Texas.
To give your ETD initiative the long-term viability it needs, add your ETDs to the growing NDLTD/MetaArchive.
