Sidewalks constructed

This summer the Virginia Department of Highways (VDOT) will be paving the road around the Drillfield. In preparation for this needed work, a new concrete sidewalk will be constructed around the Drillfield on top of the old sidewalk to match the elevation of the new paving.

Construction has begun on the concrete sidewalk on the south side of the Drillfield near Eggleston and will continue to Price Hall. Unfortunately, this work will make several parallel parking spaces unavailable in the vicinity. Once the south-side sidewalk is complete, work will be suspended on the north side until after Commencement on May 13.
