Businesses wanting to capitalize on their success can learn how to expand through the use of franchising at a seminar on September 20, from 1:30-4:30 p.m., at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center.

Francorp, the world's largest franchise consulting firm, will conduct the seminar in conjunction with the New River Valley Small Business Development Center (NRV SBDC), which is part of Virginia Tech's Public Service Programs.

Francorp conducts seminars that have helped more than 600 businesses become franchises. Seminar topics include franchise criteria, marketing methods, legal requirements, earnings potential, growth potential, and development costs.
